I seek to narrate stories about natural and timeless cycles of life, death, and rebirth. Each hand-thrown porcelain or stone-ware vessel is carved and painted with glazes or oxides, and fired in an electric kiln. A cast-metal turntable mount allows the piece to spin with the touch of a hand and reveal a story. As prayer wheels, these vessels can be filled with written thoughts. Thus each prayer wheel's meaning grows through engagement from those who use it.
