I would call most of my drawings and paintings realism, with my influence being many years working in pre-digital photography. I use my camera as my sketchbook, so nearly
all of my subject matter starts with and consists of what I see on a day to day basis. I
look for ways of interpreting what I see around me, concentrating on color, composition and minimalism. I like to experiment with various media and styles, including
abstraction, sculpture, photography and anything else I find as a means of creating art.
