Mary's art career started with her own graphic art business and later she developed an interest in fine arts. In the beginning her interest was mainly in watercolor but she soon found that her greatest joy was in learning new techniques and she branched into many other media. Over the years she worked in watercolor, acrylics, oils, ceramics and glass. She found that she kept returning most often to the craft of jewelry making where she brought together her love of working with many media. Her jewelry includes the crafts of metal working, wireweaving, polymer clay and she introduces many found objects, papers, and driftwood and just about anything else that tickles her imagination.
Her styles cover everything from bright and colorful to subtle and elegant.
