ARTIST STATEMENT

Tomas Vrba is a large-scale metal and wood sculptor. Originally trained as an art restorer in his native country of Slovakia, Tomas has been a full-time artist in the Pacific Northwest since 2006. He enjoys depicting a variety of subjects through sculpture, but most often his work explores the cultural

identity of his adopted country through its wildlife.
